People from the sea may refer to sailors or invaders/conquerors, depending what you are reading. However as everyone is talking about the just released film "Lady in the Water", it refers to narfs (Narfs are people from the sea who grew apart from the people of the earth when the earth people wanted too much. Narfs return to the land when earth people need to be awakened.)

I just watched "Lady In the Water" The M. Night. Shymalion movie (I spelled his name wrong, but not on purpose) and the story was about the people from the sea, it was an alright movie, and worth checking out if you have time, and want a different perspective from a different median then from a book.

These crazy bunch of people are most likely the least educated, hence, the lack of any written records on their parts. Furthermore, if they are going to raid other civilisations, they are unlikely to report to their own countries' government then

No one is quite certain. My theory is that they were Minoans who suddenly found themselves without a place to live after the volcanic island of Thera erupted.

Nobody realy knows.

Mary's theory (Minoans) is probably wrong.
Minoans had writen language. The "people from the sea"
left nothing writen for us to understand them.
