i agree, people are to quick to jump to the 'sexist' card, there are some things that are sexist though, the insurance thing is sexist - because not all men are shi.t drivers and men drive more than women it has been proved.
but for mens clubs they can bar women, its not like men are allowed to anne summers parties are we?? lol
if men want somewhere without women, so be it, if women want somewhere without men, thats fine too

Where I live (Rugby) there is a women's only club - best place for them I think. I don't know of any complaints although there would be if it was the other way round.
Also there is an ex service men's club that used to have a men only bar, but that had to be changed to a members only bar because of complaints by women. Still, how can a woman be an ex service MAN. it beats me.
Men and women in cases like this need to have their own space. For instance, men like to have a good cus and swear without having to look over their shoulder to see who's in earshot. Women talk about girly things and whatever only in front of other women.
In general I find this women's thing has come about by them 'getting what they wished for' most the time to their own downfall.

We do not live in a truly equal society. We live in a society that strives for equality, but in all the wrong ways. It is almost impossible to find a men's only barbershop, because men have stopped going to barber school, and women have taken up the trade. As far as the women's only insurance, this is the idea that in order to be equal we have to be separate. That is not equality, that is segregation. Human society has always been sexist, with men as the dominate gender. In the modern era, the pendulum is swinging the other way. Women are becoming more assertive and dominate and are demanding that they be separated from men in their rights and relationships. This is sexism swing to the woman's side.I doubt that we will ever see true equality.

Yes we are. Parental custody. Disfigurement compensation. Parental work leave. These are legislated inequalities. Bleating on about health insurance is a non-starter. Don't like the service? Go elsewhere. Likewise car insurance.

answer this question why is viagara covered by health insur and birth control isn't, why do men still make 30-34 cents an hour more than women? why is breast reconstruction not covered by insur. but male teste reconstruction covered? I could keep going, most men don't understand how women are still not accepted as equals in this world until something seems unfair to you. Believe me if those are the only things unequal you can think of you're very ahead of the game.

The sexism card indeed. T'is the dirtiest card in the deck. Female equivalent of the Joker, in that she can apply it to any situation to suit her own interests.
