I want to be cool like other girls in the class but they consider me as a nerd.I'm a straight 'A' student and guys always talk to me just so I could solve their homeworks and help them with school,they never talk to me because of me and I hate it!
Everytime I want to join their conversation they roll with their eyes and ignore me...the only friends are actually my teachers.
I wish I could be with those cool guys or girls.
Could you tell me how to become cool?It isn't something I can learn from books...

Don't let anyone take advantage of you for one. Those guys that are using you for homework, tell them you won't do it anymore, because it's not helping them.
You need to have confidence, fake it if you have to. Hold your head high, dress neatly and keep yourself well-groomed.
Join clubs in your school that interest you. Take some new classes that you never considered before (art, dance, karate), you'll make real friends that way.
Find people you admire for their values (not for their looks) and learn from their example.
Always stick up for the friends you do have, don't let other people disrespect your friends when you're around. Mention the positive things about your friends, when it happens, and walk away if you have too. Your friends will do the same for you when the time comes.

You don't need to be like them. You are going to be the one that is smart and successful later on in life. They are going to be low lifes with nothing. Ok you want to be cool right? Start by being yourself and never change for anyone. Have you thought of changing the way you dress? Try a new hair style or buy some new outfits. Never ever try to hard to impress them. Odds are they will only be your friend to use you. Don't go out of your way to do things for them unless they really need it. And don't be a follower. Do your own thing. They will hate that and then you never know they might follow you. I know this isnt such good advice but you need to make sure that you stay true to yourself. It's their hangup, not yours. I tell my "cool" son's to "be nice to nerds. They're the ones that will end up being your boss someday."
(By the way, I was a nerd too. Fact is...all the cool people ended up in life with the most difficult lives. Class reunions are always an entire flip of the way students were viewed while in school! lol The nerds were the "cool" people with great careers and families...the cool kids were the ones who were aged by all the suntanning, makeup and hair coloring and in their second and 3 marriages. Be glad you're a nerd!)

Ahhhh, honey, I remember those days! I am 25 now and got a great guy, but I was in the exact same boat you were in high school. Try not to worry too much about being cool because when all their coolness fades away you will still have your brains. And as guys get older, brains will start mattering as much to them as looks do at your age now. I know it's hard, but just be patient, your day will come.

Cool means different things to different people. Someone may think you're cool because your funny or something in the style of your wardrobe, some may think your cool because your a smart-*** or a punk (not cool ). Cool comes from being confident in who and what you are. Try and work on your self esteem. You sound very nice and intelligent. You shouldn't care what idiots think of you, you should be thankful that your not one of them. Just be yourself, true friends are those who like you for who you are, these classmates of yours sound self centered and petty, Does that sound COOL to you?????

Only u can change their behaviour honey. U r innocent baby, jus try to change ur dressing , ur hair , go for some cool looks,and stop talking about homework and studies all the time. wen ur friends are chatting , go and start chatting on latest movies , hit pop songs etc, try to look modern among them. and very soon u'll see d difference.

Doing well at school, and being grown up for your age is cool enough...you don't need to do anything, just wait for the others mentalities to catch up with yours.
