If you really want to try keeping them together, I would try taking out both male mollies and putting them in containers with the aquarium water. Then rearrange the decorations in the aquarium, and introducing them both back to the aquarium at the same time. Rearranging breaks up any established territories, and re-introducing them to the aquarium at the same time keeps one from claiming the aquarium as his own before the other is introduced. I have kept mollies for a long time, but fortunately I have never had this problem, as they all grew up together. But, this method has worked with other fish, so it may be worth a shot. Keep an eye on the new sailfin though and make sure it isn't exhibiting any signs of sickness that could be causing the other fish to pick on him, or that could be resulting from the stress of other fish picking on him.

The Old molly is probably jealous of the fantail or sailfin mollies and to ascertain their authority, they generally tend to bite off the tail of the other ones... i dun think you would be able to keep them together again. However, try seperating them but keeping them close so that they can see each other. over time maybe this cud stop.

Never invite another man to come and live in your house. Once king of the hill, you don't want to give it up.

Sounds like you're going to have to take them apart if you want them all to survive.
