Hello Montu:

Something that is nifty is something that is really neat,
something that you like a whole lot. It could be a tree
house, or some super ruber shoes that let you run
like the wind, or a special telescope that lets you see
far, far away. Nifty things are also different from the
normal things you see all the time. Something nifty
might have a special paint job that makes it extra neat.

Nifty things that I have are as follows:

A special little knife tool that has about ten different
blades (a cutting blade, a saw blade, a screwdriver
blade, a Can Opener blade, a star point screwdriver
blade, a File blade, and other stuff for emergencies)
It is real handy to have in your pocket.

A special portable magnifying glass with a protective
cover. This magnifying glass can be used to look
closely at all kinds of things, and it makes them look
really big so you can see everything on stuff in detail.
Some people carry matches around to start little fires.
I can do the same thing with my magnifying glass and
it doesn't matter if things have gotten wet. Matches
will not work when it has been wet.

Category Astronomy and Space.

What is nifty?

Space Sails. Zero g sports. The Space elevator. The physics of fluids in free fall. What weather systems look like from orbit.

That's a few nifty items, existent and potential.
