Everyone is different, but I had the same problem when I was that age. I realized that it helped me to study and take test on an empty stomach. I was more awake and could concentrate better. Also, drink as much water as you can. It's a fact that most of the time, our fatigue is tied to dehydration. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

Always study in the same place and time at home. Break down the study assignments into smaller sections. If you need to read and study four chapters, then do one at a time. Eat a light supper, not too heavy, nix the sweet stuff, and , oh, drink lots of water so your brain works better.

Just pull yourself back as soon as you realize you have drifted, and try not to worry about it. Or try to discipline your daydreaming so that it is about the topic you are studying. Then perhaps the content will be useful to you. It's surprising how often the answer to a troubling question will pop out of the unconscious mind, if you give it a chance.
But I go back to "don't worry about it" as my major advice: worry does not count as an activity. It is a hard-core time-waster.

Lots of non-medical solutions. Research attention deficit and get tested for it. There are some low dose generic alternatives to Ritalin or Aderol. Lots of smart and creative people have overactive minds and that is great in one way. But focus can be compromised. If not diagnosed with ADD, you can seek herbal aids or learned study habits that will help you focus. Get help now!
I waited too long and it cost me big time!

Better pull up you socks and concentrate on your studying. Cant afford to be dreaming. Else your dreams will turn into a nightmare.
On a lighter note, try to concentrate on your dreaming. Maybe you will lose concnetration and start studying.

See your family physician and ask if he can prescribe Strattera for ADD. Strattera is a non-narcotic version of Ritalin, so there is no potential for addiction.
