Yes very much!
Kerry`s statements just prove the how the Democrats are uninformed and have true contempt for the Military.

1.The Military is better educated than the general population.
2.The Military is all volunteer.
3. One can not join without a minimum of a high school degree.
4. 73.3 percent of the Enlisted Military have some college, 16.2 percent have an associate’s degree or equivalent semester hours, and 4.7 have a bachelor’s degree. 85 percent of officers have advanced degrees – 70.7 percent have master’s degrees, 12.1 percent have professional degrees and 2.5 percent have doctorate degrees.
5. Dropouts can not get in the Military. They have to go to Mc Donalds.
6. Bush out performed with better grades Kerry in the same school and Bush went further.
7. There is no draft that takes underachieving kids out of school and sends them to war, that was the Vietnam war.
8. Kerry was talking to students about education.

So Kerry`s joke doesn`t fit and he was stating what he believed about a Military he has contempt for. The "Joke" was damage control for the gullible.

Well , Well, Mr. Kerry it seems that Mr. Bush Just gathered up some dumb uneducated yahos and send them over to fight a war in Iraq to make himself look good and that the unemployment rate would stay low because the dumb ones are all over there. I seem to remember that your great men and women chose to fight for your country they were not drafted. And if some felt that it would better for them by joining the Army, Navy, Air force etc so that they can get and education out of it great for them. Not all people are born with a gold or even silver spoon in there mouth. But should anything ever happen in your great country and you became president, would you call on these dumb yahos ? How much respect do you think you will have after portraying the men and women that fight for your country on a daily basis will you have by making such idiotic comments as you did. ? Sincerely the Canadian that respects your Military People

Yes, it does. im in the airfoce, and hate to complain about stuff like this. I havent 'yet' deployed to Iraq but regardless it makes me feel like people think that military guys are stupid for joining regardless of the time frame. some military guys are getting more education then I could probally say then some of the college guys out there!! I know alot of people with CCAF's: Community College of the Air Force degrees. Alot of younger guys have bachelors degree's and some guys with master's. In some case some of the older guys even have seperate degrees in both. Im even working on an associates in computer science and a bachelors in business management. Granted some guys join because they dont know what else to do. but most join to serve there country, and take advantage of the benifits that the military can offer you while you are in, and the help it can provide you job and education wise when you get out!! Iv'e met some great guys that have had my back that could easly make a 6 figure income on the civilian side. yet they still serve there time. so please dont think of military is a bunch of "Jar Heads"....well maybe the marines. just kidding, thanks guys.

Yes...any derogatory statement made against the troops, who are fighting for the country, is bad for the troops.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Politicians deserve an public stoning for NOT performing the will of the people.....(Congress in session for 96 days this year...SENATORS MAKE AT LEAST $150,000 dollars.) A YEAR! Yeah, your tax money and mine paid somebody to work for 96 days and take the rest of the time off!

Yes, but think we should support our troops and get them out of Iraq, So far over 650,000 Iraq's dead and how many wounded?
How many of our boys have been lost, wounded and still counting? We should never been involved in this stupid war, if the American War Mongers had done their homework they would have stayed out.

It certainly does! He admitted he tortured and raped in Viet Nam and accused thousands of honorable men of the same conduct in an effort to destroy the Armed Services and to excuse his own behavior.

This man is shameful!

partially. i mean anyone who would sign away thier life wholehartedly to defend our country should feel offended. but those who sit there and complain about why people are dying in iraq are the morons he is talking about. anyone who signs up for it should be willing to give thier life. thats why there are so many benefits. so many people look as it as an easy way out or to pay for college because they are morons.
