I'm trying to find out if the song mona lisas and mad hatters is in the film Almost famous. I would also like to know what album this song is on and why it is not on the soundtrack.

Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters is from Elton John's record Honky Chateau, while the other song mentioned by an answerer, Tiny Dancer, is from his record Madman Across the Water. Both great records!
