Yes. I am always arguing. It is hard to unite because everybody feels so strongly about these issues and a lot of times their religious beliefs can influence what they think. Besides, a lot of people will take the side of what the rest of the people of their political party is without even thinking.

There are two subjects I never discuss with friends: religion and politics. People have very definite beliefs in these areas and are unlikely to have their minds changed by anything you say. It can only result in hurt feelings and broken friendships. I agree, if you want to make a difference, stop talking and do something about it, and if you want to keep your friends, you have to agree to disagree.

I am only 17 and I have been trying to get my class mates and friends involved, it is hard to make a difference when you’re young. And in the end people just don’t want to get involved, I have started many chat sites but in the end the only way to get things done is do it by your self because the only way they would move is if it directly effects them.
