because were blind sometimes, and love is blind most of the time! i dunno really, my husband cheated on me once, about three years ago he hasn't done it since, but it doesent make it right, does it hurt? Sure. Does he think I trust him? Yea. Do I? No!Mainly I look at it this way, I love him so much it's not really the act that hurts the most, it's the fear of losing his love. But then again, you could ask the question, If he really loved me, why would he do that to me? I dunno some things really never have an answer! So women can be stupid and men can be pigs so thats that!

Its not just ladies that do, its people in general . You give your heart and soul to another and they betray you leave you tossed to the side and hurt , but you still feel that bond that drew you to that person in the beginning and you think to yourself that you can fix this broken part of your life and renew the love that has has been neglected or destroyed . so with that you put renewed trust in them and prey that they don't hurt you again . its not a weak person that can give after being betrayed its a strong person that thinks of a brighter day that sometimes never comes .

I guess it makes them feel special if he comes back to them. Also, the unknown about whether it could happen again somehow keeps them 'on edge', and it's a kind of sick, heightened, pathetic drama. Some people, whether they admit this or not, thrive on this kind of chaos. It's self-destructive behavior, but gives them a personal excuse to feel like the victim (oh, poor me, look at all I've done for him!).

I think maybe we have a more forgiving nature and hate to see someone hurt. To see a man cry even though he's scum hurts us.

You seem to think "someone else wanted him so he must be a catch".
