Depends on your definition of the world. If you mean the planet, the planet may change in a way that we cannot survive, run out of resources or explode... if you mean the human population, whenever a disease or attack engulfs the planet... if you mean reality... it will end when no one is capable of perceiving it anymore.

It won't (unless you're talking about when the Sun goes supernova).
Humanity will end, but the world will continue regardless. And the sooner the better in my opinion.
