i'm 31 and have just come to terms with the fact i have to finish a relationship because tho i was tryign to hang on to it and loved him he wasn't willing or able to try and make it work. ok so that's life. i have tried to find someone and i am still single and need to pick myself up and get out there again.

i feel like i first need to build up my hope cos i just find it hard to believe something is out there for me. but i know my attitude really matters so i am trying!!

does anyone have any lovely stories of how things worked out for them at my age or older to inspire me.

thanks very much..

Yes your attitude matters. You will draw to yourself someone on the same level as yourself. You won't be able to help it. If you think positive, that's what you'll draw to yourself . By the same token, if you think negative, that's what you'll draw. Surround ourself with good thoughts. If you have a negative thought, shut the door on it. Keep thinking good thoughts until they become a habit. "At my age"!!! You're just getting started honey! You've got your whole, long, wonderful life ahead of you. And so many, many men out there needing love and companionship. You'll see. Good luck.

The only advice i have is everytime ive looked for love ive found it but not what i wanted and it turned out very bad. When i just went on and didn't look it found me and it was a much better relationship. So just take your time it will find you sooner or later sometimes its takes a little while but if you go looking your apt to end up with someone you normally wouldn't and the relationship might not be what you are looking for

well the first thing you need to do is concentrate on you. This is not a time to go looking for love. This is something that will come naturally and in due time. Right now you need to enjoy being out of this relationship and being free. Do something nice for yourself and realize that you deserve to be happy. Associate with good friends and soon the relationship you just left will be far behind you. Before you know it love will come knocking at your door.........cheers to you and your newfound freedom :)

Love will come looking for you. In the mean time, just enjoy being single. Pamper yourself and do crazy stuff. Forget about finding love, it evades the ones who want it the most! Eventually, love will come.

The best way to find love is to not go looking for it. you need to just concentrate on having some fun. when you feel happy then things will work for you. and when your happy you attract happy ppl .so maybe you need to forget about the whole love ide of it and focus on the happy bits.

My father had a friend whose wife had died and he secluded himself away from life .He met a woman 30 years younger and they fell in love . They have 3 kids and have been married for 20 years.
They still act like teens in love . He is 69 and she is 39 .
I know it seems like he robbed the cradle ,but she persued him .
He isn`t even rich.So there is hope .it all depends on who you want and what parameters you put on yourself.
