Hornythology has been around since the birth of mankind and is the study of dolly birds. This great pastime stemmed from a longing to observe all kinds of exotic birds, which has given man endless pleasure and satisfaction. However, I do advise new hornythologists to start off as bird watchers, rather than just dive deep into the bush! There is much study needing to be done before one becomes a proficient bird watcher, bird handler, or eventually bird collector.
