I was going to suggest that you go to Japan and wait to be kidnapped, but if you are genuinely interested in studying Korean in North Korea, contact the North Korean Mission to the United Nations in New York. Request information from the Permanent Representative of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the United Nations, 820 Second Avenue, New York, New York 10017, tel: (1-212) 972-3105; fax: (1-212) 972-3154.
I recommend that you travel to North Korea first to visit and familiarize yourself with prospective programs. You must have a valid US passport and obtain a valid North Korean visa (available only through a third country North Korean embassy - Beijing, China or Paris, France). Travel into North Korea will undoubtedly be through China (you cannot legally enter through the DMZ), so you will also need a Chinese visa. You will be viewed with suspicion and hostility from any number of people and organizations, from the moment you apply for the visas, but I am certain you are already aware of this.

Invade the place? Your question makes little experience as North Korea would not be able to invade united states. If it has a plan it may invade probably from Crossing the Pacific landing in California marching genuine as much as Washington DC overcoming each and each of u.s. armed forces opposition(till united states comes to a decision to no longer combat) and ask for unconditional resign. what's feasible is North Korea might hit at US bases in Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Guam and any US Fleet on the sea close to Korea if it comes to a decision to attack. As North Korea is familiar with US will retaliate it has to have a great first strike so US could be so broken it incredibly is going to be to in probability of combat returned(comparable concept of Pearl Harbour).i do no longer think of North korea can wreck or weaken the U. S. armed forces capacity in a favourite attack and that they know it too it incredibly is in basic terms empty bluffing on the two sides yet while one side makes a mistake the different side is honestly to retaliate If a conflict starts people who're probable to go through maximum is the Koreans, jap and US squaddies in bases interior the section

Dude, you have no idea what you'd be getting yourself into. North Korea is the most repressive regime on the planet. It would be much safer, you'd have a much less likely chance of being brainwashed by government propaganda, and you'd be allowed to move freely throughout the country if you go to South Korea. You're absolutely nuts to want to go to the North. It's theoretically possible to go there, but getting out is a whole different story altogether. Check out the links below.

That is a bad idea. Haven't you heard.....They hate us. I was in South Korea a few years ago (Air Force) and even the South Koreans protest against us. Good luck.

I don't think you can and be safe. The people are starving and many are in concentration camps. Go to South Korea. They probably speak the same language.
