It all depends on Ainge. He's hurt and might not play. If he plays, UT wins. If he doesn't play, LSU wins.

I am an LSU fan and season ticket holder since the early seventies and love the SEC. I am not a Jamarcus Russell fan because he is slow afoot and does not read defenses well. He is also slow to pull the trigger.
What he does possess is the best arm in college football which is a plus and a minus. His mechanics in setting up to throw is usually poor because he can rely on his arm strength to get the ball down the field.
Jamarcus has not done well this year against the likes of Auburn and Florida. Although if he would have made timely passes LSU would have beaten Auburn easily. Tennessee is not in the same class as an Auburn or Florida. Also, Jamarcus is due for a good game. When he gets into a rhythm he is tough to beat. With the off-week LSU has had time to heal and work on the running game. I think LSU will win the game by 10 points.

I believe that LSU will beat Tennessee. Tennessee is kind of a pretender vs a contender this year. LSU needs the win to stay legitimate.

I like LSU to beat the Vols in some what of a struggle. LSU want have any trouble passing the football deep down field, but we all know they haven't ran well all year and that wont change Saturday. LSU is going to put points on the board thanks in large part to the special teams, and Tennessee is going to have to score to keep pace... and I seriously doubt they can. To put it simple, the Vols wont run the ball well enough to keep that LSU front seven from blitzing on 1st and 3rd down... and Ainge is going to be sacked early and often and forced to make throws that he cant make.

Tigers 28
Vols 18
