Pictures that appear in web pages can be saved by right clicking on the picture or icon such as the eBay logo and can than be saved as a file like a photograph. They usually seem to be GIF format.

Image:
Right-click on the image and select "Save Picture As..."
Select which folder you would like to save it into and rename your image (if desired) and click save.

Text:
Select you desired text and copy it.
Open an empty Word document and paste in there.
Save it in your desired folder.

With these solutions, you can view both image and text when you are offline. Simple as that!

u need screen shots to save. when u need to save a pic in explorer, maximise it and hit button "printscreen" of ur keyboard (usually written as prtscr) then open your MS-Paint thru start -accessories and paint. Paste it on the new file. then crop accordingly which part u wanted as a pic to be saved. then save it as any format u wanted.

if you want to just see what's on the monitor at the time, you could try "magical snap"from "ashampoo". it can sit on your desktop border and you can use it to take screenshots of whatever you are viewing and then save them to a specified folder of your choice in either png, bmp, or jpeg. very very handy little program. :-)
