yup too much oil in the mix will foul the spark plug and will mean poor starting/no starting plus the baffles will get blocked and result in poor gas flow .again lack of power
not enough oil will uite simple cause a complete siezure of the engine or a partial sieze which will score the piston and or bore if it doesnt sieze completely the scores will reduce the engines ability to create the correct compression .again reduction in power

Running too rich will probably make the exhaust really smokey, make the m/bike run poorly, and it will probably foul the spark plug.
Running too lean will probably cause the bike to over heat and anything can break after that.

the only damage, maybe a dirty spark plug and a gummed jet. i would much rather run a bit on the rich side than the hot / lean side.

i have no experience with motorcycles BUT with other two cycle gasoline engines i add about one fourth cup of diesel fuel to each gallon of oil gasoline mix and rigidly adher to the manufactures recommendation for oil gas ratio. i have had excellent results and saved a lot of money on repair bills.my chainsaw and vw beetle powered three wheeler seem to last forever. i have a homelite chainsaw that is twenty years old, used frequently and preforming well

You could score piston rings and cylinder walls I used to run a little rich and keep the rpm's up

to rich , will cause no damage, just foul spark plugs, to lean i and will burn a hole in the piston,or damage piston cyclinder walls and could damage crank by getting to hot.
