Good question, but if our fellas tell us they love us, then we have to believe them, don't we? its all about trust in a relationship, in every aspect, but if you don't believe your fella when he tells you that he loves you, then I don't think there would be any chance of a relationship working, do you?

well.. theres nothing much u need to do.. its a hard thing for someone to juz simply say "i love u" if it dun mean the way it shud.. when a guy likes a girl, it doesnt mean they have to be couples or tell u she likes u or even send messages such that has love motives..
a guy who really loves a girl will do everything he shud for her.. and doesnt matter when or where.. when the girl needs help he is alwiz there for her.. doing things together.. feeling comfortable.. share interests and sort of stuffs.. shows that that guy really loves u.. if u r still not sure.. u can ask him..
guys are not as sensitive as u think.. dun be shy.. juz ask.. =)

When a guy truly loves you, he will show full respect of you and willing to sacrifice himself to do you good. He is willing to accept your weaknesses, and walk with you for extra mile.
Many guys usually say beautiful word of love to see whether they can convince the girl to satisfy their ..x+@y urges. But kissing, hugging or even having ..x+@y must not be interpreted as "love."

If he really is in love with you..You can expect the following: Flowers, gifts, KIND WORDS, YOU'RE OPINION, an unexpected kiss or hug, THOUGHTFUL ACTIONS, CARING ATTITUDE, understanding nature of your problems, discomfort and anxieties OR take the time to find out about them to help fix them. encourage your independence, and in general without going on and on he will help you become a better all around person as well as you should him..remember honey is better than vinegar...my mum RIP always said..ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS..good luck! and to think this is from a father, grandfather, caring husband at 58 hahahahaha...

Denial may also rear its head, but he will look away and blush most probably (guys blush for special ppl) so you know if he's trying to lie

by the way he acts and by the things he says?
does he look for at girls? does he compliment you? does he respect you adn treat you properly? how do u feel? how long have you known/been with him? how far have you gone physically? can you confide in each other?
does he tell you he loves you?
