The reason I am askin is I have found 3 bugs in my livingroom lately, I looked all over the internet and cannot find any bug that resembles it. the closest is a cockroach but on the same hand it doesnt look like a roach but just has some resemblances such as two little nodes on the back end.

There is a huge variety of insects in the world. In fact if you consider all the animals species in the world, there are 100 times as many insects. Many have not even been discovered or given names yet. Of course there are some similiar to roaches.

One good way is to turn the lights on at night, roaches cannot stand bright light and will quickly dart for cover. Otherwise there are many beetles that are quite like roaches.

could be a water bug. they look alot like a roach but aren't.
