Bernie Ecclestone, Simon Cowell, Stelios and Branson's jobs are well paid, so you need to be an entrepreneur.

Regular jobs, they never report the real amount that changes hands, but salary wise, then CEO of some multinational would be right up there.

Good question, but it does depend on who you are. I would suggest playing proffessional football for chelsea was the highest paying job if you're Hernan Crespo, Shevchenko or Drogba. £70k per week can't be bad.
