Nick names come naturally. You don't sit there thinking what nick name shall i give my mate. So just leave them as they are.

They are fairly standard nicknames - but why go changing just for the hell of it. If you're talking to someone about fudgie, they're going to know who you're on about. If you suddenly start calling him 'Big Man', no-one will have a clue.

Strange question! These are obvious nicknames and perfectly satisfactory. Nicknames usually come about for a reason - they find you rather than you finding them. For example, you get given a nickname because of some physical characteristic.... like 'Freckles' or because of a job you do.... like Dick the Skip.

These aren't really nicknames. They are dimunitions and familiarisations of their names. A nickname should really reflect their character or their attributes. Eg The Edge, Gatepost, Rabbit, etc.

if they feel right, they are. Don't think you are supposed to put too much thought in to a nick name!
