Would be the same materials as that of the original factory parts. You must be aware of spare parts policies of most of these companies. Spare parts are those parts that have not met quality standards before assembly, or are coming from a source which has not met required quality consistency norms. The specifications and sometimes even the vendors are the same as the original part vendors.
Now most cars use every material under the sun, except for rock and stone, gold, titanium, platinum, etc.

The present gen cars including that of Maruti 800 use these materials:-
1) Steel sheets for the body shell
2) Pressed steel components for tappet cover, air filter housing, brake drum covers, washers, seats, carburetter components, instrument clusters, suspension shakles, shock absorbers, struts, wipers, etc
3) Polymers/ plastics for Dashboard, bumpers, door trims, interiors, seat machine covers, backlight glass/ indicator glass etc
4) Cast iron for engine blocks
5) Magnesium alloy for engine head, Gear housing, carb/mpfi etc, pistons
5) Special steel forged alloys for gear cogs,shafts, connecting rods, crankshafts, head valves, camshafts and other timing gears, axles leaf springs, nut bolts etc
6) Tempered steel for Ball/taper bearings & gudgeon pins, discs for front brakes
7) Treated/pressed leather for clutch plates/brake liners. Also carbon fibre for front disk brakes
8) Natural rubber for all the rubber seal, garnish, mouldings, beedings, fuel/water pipes hoses, floor mats, mountings and above all the tyres/tubes.
9) Special toughened glass for windshields and clear glass for head lights.
10) Alminuim for Radiator assy.
11) Lead for Battery plates
12) Copper for windings of starter motor, wiper motors, alternator, wiring harness etc
13) Vinyl fabric/ artifical leather for seats, seat belts, door trims, carpet, roof lining etc.
14) Rubber/PU foam for seats
15) Special paper for air/fuel filters
16) Primar putty, red oxide and paint for the final finish.
