If you want to work at McDonald's then no it is not important at all.

Since you are still reading I will assume that you don't want to work at McDonald's for the rest of your life. A research paper teaches you how to read a lot of different opinions, summarize them and then formulate your own conclusion. Each one of these are important skills for people who don't work at McDonald's. If you are able to do all of them simultaneously then your chances at a successful career are much higher. It has nothing to do with the topic being researched. What is important is learning how to read, summarize and think critically.

research paper is a requirement for a student to pass a subject but besides from that, it is an opportunity to learn more about the topic you are researching on. We write a research paper to discuss all the information about the subject we gathered from different sources sometimes this includes our reaction form the gathered information. It's important if it is a requirement. Hope you are satisfied with my answer.

It forces you to create! It forces you to think and to shape your thoughts. It also forces you to cope when you get out of school. Imagine being employed in your dream job, and your boss asks you to get back to him/her about how many widgets are going to be needed to perform a task. You need to know how to get the answers, other than going on line and asking Yahoo answers, Does anyone know how many widgets it takes to make this ...."
