Shadow people, are they the jinn (genies) talked about in Muslim culture?
The Muslims believe that there is another plane of existence where the jinn live. sometimes they are able to pass through to our dimension, and we can sometime pass through to theirs. could it be that these shadow people are actually jinn?

I am not familiar with Muslim culture. But I have seen a shadow creature or What I believe was one. I can not tell if it was real or my mind playing tricks on me, but I certainly remember it for its sight was unforgettable. It is not something pleasant looking, you do not want to see another one. The one I seen basically leaped off steps about 15 feet, something no man could do. It jumped down, it did'nt stand erect like a man, it was crouched. it had what looked like really pointy ears,, If you could picture a gargoyle, but shadow like it appearence. and they dissappear instantly, they whole experience is only a few seconds long.

I've encountered many shadow entities, but nothing has ever lead me to associate them with djinn.
So I suppose I'd have to say "no shadow people and djinn are differnt critters all together."
