Hit F10 on your keyboard, but, make sure you have everything on a CD because, it will erase everything and you have to start all over from scratch. I found out by accident! My documents and virus etc. were all gone.

it depends if you really want to take the sacrifice of loosing everything
there are some orther ways of solving this ...
if u have two partitions then backup your things in the second one (which does not have the OS) if u dont have then u can create one using partition magic ..(this is if u wants reinstall)
but this is another simple way of solving this you dont have to format your hard disk and you wil not loose you computer settings
you willl not loose your installed prgrams
-this is repairing the operating system(ii guess u r using windows xp)
The procedure
-start your pc put you instalation CD
-go to setup(either pressing DEL,F1,F2) change the boot sequence to start with CD-ROM
-reboot
-your pc will boot using the cd
-the first choice it will give u to repair ingnore and press enter
-it will bring you another page where you have to agree with the terms press F8
-the next step it will show you the HDD partitions on you
pc and it will show the present os in the system (it will give u an option of repairing (if does not give u then too bad you have to install afresh ) if it does then choose and continue by pressing R
-wait and follow instructions (ps read any instructions before you agree to it )
good luck with this
if does not work then follow the same procedure but instead of repairing choose the HDD and install ..press ENTER
-then it will give an option of formatting ...choose the file system u want to use ...NTFS,FAT etc
choose
and follow instructions
good luck with everything ...(backup what is important to you )

OK, Here goes.
Put the installation CD in the CD Drive and reboot.
When it's booted you'll get the message "Hit any key to enter Set Up" Hit any key.
Set up will begin. Wait till it comes to a point where it asks you where do you want to install the OS.
Here you first choose the "D" Drive and use the option "Delete Disc" or "Format Disc". Then you select "C" Drive and do the same thing.
Now you select "C" Drive to install the OS on.
The rest is very easy.
All the best.

Insert your Windows cd and uninstall.
Then format , repartition , install Windows and so on.. pretty easy but ultimately nerve wrecking.

if u are already logon through administrator accont
then you have to logon through the main administrator account .
To logon through this account turn on ur computer and when welcome screen or users account screen appear press ALT+CTRL+DELETE(PRESS DELETE TWICE)
then type ADMINISTRATOR in user name
and password if you inserted it otherwise hit enter
