Go to a cool shop and pretty much go for what you like. Jeans are ALWAYS in fashion. Wedge shoes, loose bohemian style tops, bows, polka dots. The best thing to do is look in magazines at photos of celebrities. They are always in up to the minute fashion. Find yourself a style icon. ie. Find a celebrity whose 'look' you admire then adapt it to suit you. Sometimes what is 'in fashion' wont always 'suit' you. So shows like 'What Not To Wear' are excellent because they show how to dress according to height, weight etc. Good luck and have fun.

Specific clothing or trends?
For trends:
-grey, red, plum, black
-Eighteenth century glamour
-details, embellishment and interesting cuts
-tweeds
-proportions (ie, wide legged pants with a slim top or slim pants with a oversized coat)
-layers
-patent everything
-leopard print
If you want a few trendy pieces for this season, pick one or two of these (no need to go overboard and buy a whole new wardrobe):
-Slim, belted coat in a classic colour and fabric
-Leather boots (ankle or knee-high)
-Red patent pumps
-Thin leopard print belt
-Metallic accessories
-Long cardigan
-A gorgeous dress with lots of embroidery and details.
If you want to continually keep up on trends, consider a subscription to a fashion magazine like Vogue. :)

Anything w/ a designer label on it I'm sure would be in fashion...my suggestion is break away from the norm and create your own style...thats the only way to get really noticed...good luck...

I would say nothing much has changed except for colours and material textures. Trend colours like 'different shades of green' have taken over
...enjoy changing your style.
