I took Norithisterone for a week before my due period to postpone menstrual bleeding which was due Monday. Last night the condom broke - should I take the morning after pill as I would have ovulated two weeks ago? If so can I just buy this over the counter at any pharmacy??

You need to check with your GP or at the pharmacy to make sure that the hormones in both the tablets don't react with each other first. If it's OK you can buy levonelle over the counter at most pharamcies or get your GP to prescribe you the morning after pill.

It takes an entire cycle for birth control to become effective.

The good news is that today, November 1, Plan B became Behind the Counter. It should be arriving at your neighborhood pharmacy any time now. You'll have to start it ASAP for it to work.

The condom broke? What was he doing using that condom he has been packing around since graduation in 1996?

Hi - the one time Ive needed this pill I bought it from tesco pharmacy, cost £20 bloody expensive! But worth it if it puts your mind at rest. Theyll explain this at the pharmacy but will reiterate....it may make you feel a bit manky but if you throw up, it doesnt work. Good luck....and get moving to any large pharmacy (Boots also do them) xx

Shouldn't you be asking this question to a doctor or a pharmacist rather than spending what might be precious time on here waiting for an answer which might not be right?
