I love Anne Rice, too, but I'm actually looking for real experiences that you think may have been with real vampires. I won't even ask jerks not to respond...but I hope they aren't the only ones. I'm honestly curious

I guess you mean a real Vampire who sucks blood out of people.
I've never met the real thing, but i know lots of people who wish they were Vampires and were imortal and others who pray that a real one would come and turn them.
When I was 19 I was madly in love with Lestat so I understand their appeal, their lustre. If Vampires are like Rice's beings then I'd love to interview one and so would many others.
I'm afraid that you won't find what you are looking for here..

As a matter of fact I have, both the blood drinking variety and the lesser known psychcic type.

My first exoperience with the psychic variety was in 1973 when I first met my first martial arts instructor. Without going into too much detail I will say that he personally never used the term "vampire" in the 11 years I knew him. He simply pointed out that he could absorb the 'KI' (vital life energy in asian philosophy also spelled as Chi or QI) from any human. He used this energy to increase both his physical power and is lifespan. I have subsequently been able to verify ALL of his claims an information relating to the past going back centruies, some of which were only uncovered in the last decade, even though he gave complete details over 30 years ago.

My first experience with a blood drinking vampire came in 1976 on a trip to South Africa. I encountered the being in question just outside of Capetown. I found her feeding on her latest victim, an itenerant that had been traveling through the town. I watched her feed until she was done and when she stood I watched as the wrinkles in her face disappeared into smothness and her posture went from bent and akward to straight and tall. When she spoke to me her vioice was strong and clear like the tolling of a bell. I won't go into the details of what happened next but I will say that I learned things about women that night that I had not known about. She left my bed before dawn and I watched as she leapt over the village huts, disappearing into a nearby cave.

After some research..I found that she was far older than anyone in the area could remember and no one would have much to do with me after that...they were afraid moreso because she DIDN'T feed from me than anything else.

I have had a number of encounters with such beings. If you, or anyone else is interested you can contact me and I will relate them to you....

Sounds like your friend probably got it a little mixed up. In folklore vampires were said to be bloated anyways, as they were corpses, and had a ruddy complexion. They never really drank too much blood and unlike vampires of modern fiction folkloric vamps rarely drained the entire body but rather took a little at a time but also were believed to cause illness in the community and in their family, as well as cause famine, and other mishaps. This is when the townspeople would exhume the body of the suspected vampire, and either stake them or cut out their heart, burn it, mix the ashes in water and feed the concoction to a sick family member.

I have a friend that is a practicing vampire. He was raised in the lifestyle and his wife and child are obviously also so I am familiar with some of their lifestyle choices. Does this count as a real experience?

i came across a psychic vampire once, i don't have proof, but i know he was. Every time i was around him I would become exhausted. I would get nauseous and headaches and feel so sleepy and like i wanted to lie down or sit at least and close my eyes. At first i didn't know why. Little by little i began to feel like it was because of him. I noticed he would always try and make some sort of contact with me like touch my hand or my shoulder i hated that, i started to try and avoid him but it was hard to because it was at a place i worked at and he was a regular customer. I think he realized I knew it was him so he stopped. I never mentioned it to anyone else around me because i felt it was gonna sound stupid if i said it so i just left it at that.

vampirires are mythical creatures. their are, however, those who claim to be vampiresa and drink what they claim s real blood. i don't know if it is or isn't. i do know that such people are in need of some kind of help.
there are however some african tribes which live on cows blood alone and have done so for thousands of years. they raise cattle and collect some blood from each one every day and partake of it daily from the earliest age possible after being weaned from the mother. they eat no meat and few vegetables, if any.

just last night..
while I was between the sleeping and non-sleeping stage, I felt movement in my room. I was too tired to open my eyes and check what was it. A couple seconds later, I felt this thing roaming around my body. I started hearing weird faint noises in my ear. Suddenly, I felt something grabbing my right hand. I quickly smashed it with my left one and there was the damn mosquito sucking my blood >:[

Only the more common physic vampire. that tries to drain part or all of your physic energy into it. You will feel tired and drained by the experience beyond what you would feel from your normal days work.
