Aquarium fish question?

What does the term "trio"of fish mean? I bought 3 F1 Samazi Frontosa fish and the seller told me that they could be a trio what does he mean be that? Thank you

Trio usually refers to a group of three.

A trio is 3, usually 2 females and 1 male.

yeah a group of three and thay will hang together as three and not two or one
