Boldness can be thought of as assertiveness.* If we're assertive, we're more likely to get what we need and want in life, than if we're passive. So, yes, fate does favor the bold.

Ever hear the expression, "No guts, no glory"?

*BTW, boldness is NOT foolish risk-taking.

In today's world it's advantageous to be bold - the world is not for meek people! However, being bold does not necessarily mean that you have to take unnecessary risks. Fate has nothing to do with being bold - you cannot change your destiny by being bold.

Fate only deals with the bold. Slashes 95% of them to find a historical figure.

Yes, Except for the last time. You can roll the dice many times and have a wild and exiteing game, but eventually your going to hit a 7. The trick is bouncing back and not letting it get you down.

Another anology might be a base jumper. You might have a really fun filled adventure thousands of times, but that one that doesn't work out... well.. write your will early and often.

At least you can say you died doing what you love.

According to Ovid, the Gods favour the bold, taking a risk can be good sometimes, but make it a measured risk, rather than a frivolous risk.

Fate isn't a game of chance...it's something that you're gonna
do. You may think that you can change it in one way or another,
but whatever happens, good or bad, it will still turn out the way "Fate" had it written for you in the first place.

if you believe in fate, it will happen no matter what you do. fate is basically life having a plan for each one of us; everything happens for a reason and that type of thinking. so it wouldnt matter if you took more risks or not. fate will happen no matter what you do.
