I know he has a fairie or a partner in some games, but it is very useless.

Can the Hyrulians help Link?

Link is the chosen one, his destiny chosen as the holder of the Courage
of Triforce. It is his duty as the Hero Of Time to uphold and restore peace
to the land of Hyrule. Who says he has no help, I find faerie spots and
and scrub spots rather helpful. The cucco lady helps in her own way as do
the Gorons and the Zoras.
He wouldn't be called The Hero of Time for nothing. In the end Zelda does
help for a while, so she's not a lost cause.

You wouldn't want them to help you. Link is the hero...sometimes the Hero of Time. You have to show that you can defeat Ganon, Ganondorf, etc., on your own, without any assistance from even a fairy. Do not demean the valor of Link by asking the Hyrulians to help link!

It would be much too dangerous for anyone to aid Link in his quests. He is chosen and is naturally gifted with greater strength, skill, and stamina than any other Hyrulian or Hylian. He is also naturally courageous, I doubt Joe Schmo from Kakariko would be able to go inside the Dodongo's Cavern without being scared out of his wits.
