On TV they always say 'Let's put the kids to bed early tonight' and stuff like that. So now, I really am wondering if that's how it is in marriage? When else do people find time?

They make time. Many times couples are tired by the time the kids go to bed. So, they arrange for an overnight babysitter (like a family member who'll take the kids to their house) then they go out on a date and go home and have sex. Or they play hooky from work and go home in the middle of the day or to a hotel; or they make sure the kids know that Mommy and Daddy need to sleep late on Saturday and Sunday so don't bother them before a certain time (kids don't always listen to this one though).

When the kids are at school, when they're sleeping at about 2 in the morning, before they wake up, when they're off at friends' houses, etc etc. Unless you're one of those parents that don't care if their kids know they're having sex, in which case you can do it just about whenever you want with exception of dinner time on the table because that's just in bad taste. So really you find times to do it, but I don't think people put their kids to bed early too much. It seems like more of an expression.

Where there is a will, there is a way. Sex is not that hard to get when you are married. People go overboard on the " you'll never have time for sex". I have been married for 6 years and I still have time to have sex every day..sometimes twice a day. It's pretty easy to do.

Well,kind of.Finally after a long day when the kids are sleep,you just want to relax and watch some TV.Sex is the last thing that crosses my mined.Then my husband wants to know if i want to drink some wine.I know what he wants.Honestly i really don't care,because i do 't have energy for it.So the answer is after the kids are in a deep sleep.

i have four kids and my hubby works away for 4-6wks then comes home for a wk.
when he is home we grab every minute we can especially when the kids are at school. if there not then we find something that will amuse them for an hr and we go upstairs or we just simply put them to bed early.
we have even been known to get a babysitter and go to a hotel for a few hrs.

You dont find time you have to make time. Due to tiredness and work commitments that can be difficult. Even though you have children you still have to keep your relationship working quality not quantity that's the key

The time is limited, but it's there. There's nap time, which is greatly appreciated by all parents. Then there's bedtime, which is VERY appreciated by all parents. In between, there is that wonderful person who we can call the babysitter.
