Read the old classic - the virtue of selfishness. Being selfish is to take care of oneself without overly depending on others. If everyone can be selfish in that sense, the world would be a better place, really!!
And, mind you, when you move out of turn to help someone, it is actually to satisfy your own ego which is the highest manifestation of selfishness.

If you are the riches person in your family and everyone else is struggling to survive then I would say you are selfish not to help the others up

Try giving away something in your possession which u least care about. If u can't then u r selfish to the core.

If your answer is NO, then you're only human. All of us tend to be abit selfish. just depends on what your level of selfishness is.

is it always all about you-then your selfish, do you ever give more than you take, if you don't- then your selfish. do you get upset when your not the one in the spotlight-then your selfish. do you ever share something thats near and dear to you-then your selfish.

if you're kind and giving to others-expecting nothing in return-gaining satisfaction from the happiness you bring to them-you are selfish-no less selfish than the person who feels satisfaction from hoarding his possessions and sharing nothing-the motivation was still self satisfaction! we are all selfish pigs!
