problem is not theirs. I can get onto all of their other pages except the personal banking section and each time I try to access my details it says that the "page can't be displayed".
I phoned the co-op bank and they say go to the security section of internet options and set my custom level to low but each time I go to do this a little box comes up saying "the recommended level is medium. the level you have chosen is lower than this. Please choose a secuirty level of medium and higher". I don't know what else to try and really do not know if it is actually me or them.. I needed to pay my bills online and am sort of stuck now...

A temporary measure would be to make bill payments over the telephone. I do this occasionally with my bank when their site is down (it's not the coop but I am sure they will have the same facilities)

They should be able to see your payment details and do the transfers for you.

Then keep pressing their IT help line they will sort it out for you just tell them exactly what is happening and tell them it is their end job to help you and you have changed nothing your end.

It could be a "cookies" problem or maybe your bank uses the "pop up" system , if so you might need to tell your pop up blocker to let that one through.

Download & install an alternative, better & safer browser such as Mozilla Firefox.
from http://www.firefox2006.com/gonz.htm

There is no need to uninstall Internet Explorer, you can still use it whenever you want.
Internet Explorer is always playing up due to wrong settings.

Good luck
