last night me and my friend went trick or treating for the laugh. then these two blokes came running after us out of a black car. two got my friend to the floor and one tripped me up in the middle of the road. he then dragged me up and told me to take my top off to clean their car with because we were supposed to have thrown an egg at it, when we didn't. my parents have phoned the police but i'm scared of walking to school incase thay come after me. any tips on not being scared?

I really believe that this was a random incident when you consider it was holloween. probably just two asses who were looking for a perverse laugh and just picked u two b/c u were the nearest by and probably since not that many ppl around, the chances of them getting caught was miniscule. I dont think its going to happen again concerning them coming after you. However, it doesnt mean that you should not walk around unprotected even if this didnt happen. Protection is the best thing so go and by easy to carry mace. Also, walk in well lit areas and find a support group, whether it be a friend, family member, counselor, or an actual group to help you get through it. It was a traumatic experience and it will be a part of you for a long time, but you cant let it take over your life.

Make sure you can walk with someone else. There is more strength in numbers!!! Do you have a cell phone if so take it with you!!!
Can your folks take you? An older sibling? A friend's parent? Don't let these jackasses run your life!!! It's okay to feel afraid that's normal!! They are probably more worried about the assault charges than they are about you!
Besides I am sure it was dark and you were in costume right? whose to say whether they will recognize you ??
