In regards to marriage/divorce? I've heard the expression a few times but I'm not exactly sure if I'm correct in what I think it is.

It means that either the woman pretended to be in love with a man or just divorced him because she was angry and got almost everything in the divorce settlement.

In genreal, it means that she took everything from him that she could get. This kind of a person is, in my opinion, a gold digger and only interested in what she can get. Relationships, and marriages in particular, are supposed to be give and take on both side, and I don't mean material things either.
