I used to have very high blood pressure, until a friend had me try some Himalayan Goji Juice. Since drinking goji my blood pressure stays about 130/80. I had tried the green tea, and it did not help. I am not overweight, and I do exercise regularly.

Himalayan Goji Juice contains Cyperone, a sesquiterpene that benefits the heart and blood pressure. It also contains 22 polysaccharides, 4 of which are unique bioactive polysaccharides that are not found in any other plant on earth. These polysaccharides repair the body at a cellular level. Himalayan Goji Juice also contains 19 amino acids, 21 trace minerals, 13% protein, antioxidants, carotenoids, vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, Beta-Sitosterol (which lowers cholesterol), Essential fatty acids, Salovetivone, Physalin, and Betaine (Betaine provides methyl groups in the body's energy reactions and can help reduce levels of homocysteine, a prime risk factor for heart disease). Plus much more.

I no longer take medication for my blood pressure. I only drink Goji.

drink green tea
onions and garlic
turmeric(spice used in curry)
i started noticing a series of rather high bp readings 2 years ago (diastolic between 90-95) after a long period of reaching large body weight (110 kilos)
since my normal weight used to be around 80 i figured the weight must be the cause of the high readings since im only 30,but other factors for sure were smoking and too much PEPSI.

so what did i do?
i started a vigorous diet and lost about 20 kilos in a year.i also tried to decrease the smoking and pepsi but i couldnt quit completely.
now my bp is much better (diastolic in the 80s range)

recent guidelines show that even a diastolic reading of 85 is too high ,thats why im still not satisfied with my blood pressure, the next step for sure would be to completely stop smoking and to start an exercise program.

although my blood pressure is ok now generally,i prefer to take a small dose of medicine (5mg lisinoprol) thats because of
1- im a doctor so i can treat myself
2- i know that research showed recently that blood pressure when its even slightly high has a gradual effect detrimental to the whole body so my target is a blood pressure of less than 120/80 ,and since ive been taking the medicine i have noticed for example that my skin looks healthier than before ,which is supported by research linking marginal rise in bp to various aging processes.

so my advice is this
1 the blood pressure itself is not the problem, its the effect of having a high blood pressure for a long time that is dangerous. its very important that you understand this, because a lot of people would rather try diet, supplements, exercise so they can still feel young and healthy rather than take the medicine which will make them feel old and sick, even though diet etc is not always enough to control the blood pressure.
2-the best steps you can take now and continue for at least 3 months before evaluating again for choice of therapy is to
lose as much weight as possible(if you are overweight)
stop smoking
stop taking sweetend foods and drinks
engage in a good exercise program like jogging daily for 20 minutes.
stress relief

if these fail to change anything over 3 months then my advice is to start medication which you might be able to stop after 2 years or so depending on if you succed in making lifestyle modifications.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

My husband had high blood pressure all his life (he's only 38 years old but it runs in his family) until he got turned on to one of those anti-oxidant juices, ViaViente. It's the leader in 100% natural, whole food juices (backed by research) so we highly recommend it. After 3 weeks of drinking ViaViente, his blood pressure went from 140+ to 117. It's been 3 months now and his blood pressure is now at 110. Prior to drinking ViaViente, he tried dietary changes and high-cardio workouts. This juice was the only thing that did it. If you have any other questions about it, feel free to contact me directly or go to www.myviaoffice.com/lynette. Best regards.

20 minutes or more of cardiovascular exercise several days per week will help lower your blood pressure. It has lowered mine and I am no longer on my medication.

Also, most diets claim their weight loss program will lower blood pressue but that can be ascribed to weight loss which will happen anyway with exercise. South Beach Diet and Atkins claim their diets do lower blood pressure so read about those.

My husband has high blood pressure and he was told to get garlic pills. Always ask your doctor first.

I'm sure you mean medications but even losing weight and getting lots of exercise can help considerably. And, of course, dealing with stress.
