It is the place 60 km south of Madras. One can travel by bus or rail upto Chinglepetu and catch a bus. Shore temple, and carving on hillocks are worth seeing. Now, good hotels are also available. It is nice to visit during December to early March. Lots off foreign tourists visit the place in the season. It is really nice and worth place. But one should visit Thirukalikundram (Paxshi Tirtham) on the way. Two birds regularly visit the Shiva temple on the hill and take prasad. Best of your tour.
