Technically, yes. At a DS download station (and soon to be the Nintendo Wii), you are able to download demos of upcoming DS games. However, the games only stay on as long as you have your DS on. As soon as you turn it off, demo is over.Also, you can download games for multiplayer from other people's DS'. Hope that helps!

DS download stations are the LEGAL way. Of course there is the other way. You can get a flash card, some extra flash memory, and load games and music into the card through your computer. You can play music, homebrew games, and DS backups. Of course I cant tell you where to get them because of legal reasons. Your going to have to find out how buy yourself.
Its legal to have the flash card in your ds.
Is ILLEGAL to have DS backups without having the original physical copy of the game.
