The thing about life is that whatever you have done, you cannot take it back. You can hope that people forget about it, or you can appologise, but it will always be there

NO. God knows we all wish we could but that's not possible. We do things wrong every day, sometimes the blunder is so great our conscience takes hold and quite strongly says "THAT WAS WRONG!". Here we accept it and learn not to do it again, or we refuse to learn and are doomed to repeat it.
We cannot take back whatever right or wrong we have done. We can make amends, we can fix some of our bad things, we can recuperate some losses, and even better our bad things, but if we could go and simply take back what we did then you can bet your toenails and the hair on your body that Adolf Hitler would have taken back his mistake in opening up a second front with the Russians, and probably would take back the Luftwaffe's attack on England.
Churchill and the American President would have taken back what they gave to Stalin.
Having a small idea of the chaos from taking things back would have in our world I would say that "I'm happy to report that no we can't take back the bad things we do"
Although there are a lot of things I wish I could take back.

I would like to say that there are some things you can take back but I would be lying.
All you can do is make up for the mistake and move on.

No, you can't take it back, but you have the opportunity to learn from what you did.

Learn from your mistakes and your "mistakes" become valuable lessons; repeat your mistakes and you learn nothing, and you will repeat the cycle over and over.

No.
Apologies does nothing.
You can only make up for it with your actions.
