Is Rush Limbaugh, who has had 3 divorces, still a Conservative?

The man claims to be a strong christian conservative however he has been married three times. Doesn't make sense.

Do conversatives consider him to be one?

christian conservative which would be regarding social issues not fiscal conservative. i'm sure rush is one too.

i disagree with supply siders who believe tax revenue would increase eventually. this thought must be taken back to the drawing board.

Yes he is because the word conservative no longer means 'to be a believer in conserving..' Just look at the deficit and amount of spending this Republican congress has accomplished.

The new meaning of conservative and the reason Rush Limbaugh is one is: 'to be full of prejudices, bigotry, arrogance and hatred while also believing you are self-righteous and morally superior to anyone who does not fall down and worship Bush Jr."

I don't believe that you understand what makes a Conservative.

Conservatives believe the following.

1. Small Government is Best Government. ( The government is there only to Provide the common defense, Promote the General welfare. (Clean Water, Civil Engineering) and regulate Interstate commerce( Interstate Highway system, Uniform Banking laws, you know Treasury stuff) and to act as the common voice of the nation in International affairs

2. Taxes. If the Government is small then they don't really need a lot of money. Besides, lower tax rates, and simple rules, create more revenue for the Government, because it promotes a more stable economy. ( I know it is counter-intuitive, But it really does work)

3. Fiscal responsibility - control spending. The biggest Issue among conservatives today. And why Republicans in the Congress are In trouble. Deficit Spending should only occur on two occasions. To assist a struggling economy, and to Defend the Nation. And then the increased costs should be offset with cuts in other areas of the budget.

After those three things most Conservatives want to be left alone, so they can do the true work of the Nation. Personal Responsiblity is the key to Enlightenment.

would not remember what number circumstances a "Liberal" has been married. they do no longer communicate up "family members Values" and it is not area of their political platform. i do no longer carry a Bible and soapbox the two. It depends on what aspect of conservative you are talking about? The fact that he has been divorced three times is a matter for religion to hash out. If he believes in doing things yourself, making something of yourself, and not relying on others to carry your crap, then yes, he is a conservative.

He's definitely conservative, but how Christian? It's hard to say. While I abhor him, I can't hold divorce, no matter how many times, against him. Christians divorce anyway. If he's Catholic, then it's another matter, but I somehow doubt that. For all of Catholicism's dark past, I find Catholics generally rather nice--unlike Rush.

Most Conservatives that I know have had 5-7 divorces, since the men are alcoholic, and beat their wives and children. Rush is truly conservative in that area. I think he really likes Mark Foley, since he takes up for him, and calls Foley a great American on Talk Radio.

I don't know why you think that all republicans are Christian Conservative. I happen to know a self-proclaimed atheist that votes Republican. Republican is about many things. Lower taxes and letting you keep the money you earn, less government, etc.

NO, he is not, conservatives do not want to change the constitution, do not tell others how to live their personal lives or let the government tell them, think drug addiction is wrong, and honor tradtional family values that do not tolerate divorce unless in very extreme circumstances. he is a lying hypocrit.
