Democrats are generally wealthier than republicans. The numbers for republicans get skewed by the very rich. As for fun, it depends. Democrats are better if you like to drink and dance all night. Republicans prefer golf and tv.

There are plenty of super rich democrats... a lot of the rich in the New England states are democrats, etc...

Your question implies that being rich means you have a fun life... I would argue that fact.

Actually, I used to be a Republican and I can say that being a Republican is not fun at all and is very stressing. You stay full of hate and are constantly griping or whining about somebody else causing something wrong with the world. Republicans are against everything... everything is a fight against or stopping...

Depending on your definition of "Rich" Some Republicans are Wealthy. Most are Middle Income Earners. Factory Workers, and Truckdrivers, Housewives and Small Business Owners. Many are as Average as you can get. Democrats/Liberals would like everyone to think that you must be Wealthy to be a Republican. Everyone I have met seem to have a Good time and are excited about life and its possibilities. But everyone has their own Ideas about what is fun. I like to count the money in my bank account. Others like to take recreational drugs. I like not having to give away so much of my money to the Government. Others like to stand around with signs of Protest. I like to give to the charities I think do the best job. Others like to make those decisions for me. To me it is all about choice, Do I decide what is right in my life or do I let the Government tell me what I must do.

Voting for a Democrat ~$0.00
Voting for a Republican ~ $0.00
Thinking for yourself ~ Priceless\
Having the right and responsibilty to do it ~ Paid for by the Blood of Patriots. So honor any service member you see. Especially Veterans of Unpopular Wars.

Only if you follow the path begun by the late US Senator Barry Morris Goldwater (1909-1998) from Arizona. He was a Conservative Libertarian that served in the US Air Force and was a Four star general. Another Libertarian is Dr Kelley Ross. He graduated 22 years before me at US Grant High "Lancers" at Van Nuys California 91401.

The late Hal Aurthur will never be FORGOTTEN.
He was murdered.
Dr Ross knew of him

I used to be a Republican and it wasn't any fun. Then, I became a Democrat and it wasn't any fun either. So now, I actually think for myself and don't allow myself to get caught up in lumping everyone into one of two groups and I instead focus on the individual, and not their political party of choice.

actually if the world was rational only rich people would be republicans. but it is not. many poor people are also republicans. they cannot get power if they rely on the rich as they are a minority so they have to use propaganda to recruit poor voters. stupidity helps in this goal.

besides, if the world was rational. men would ride side-saddle.
tell that one to your teacher. it will get a snort of approval.

Oh, silly Alex B PhD. You know full well liberals get laid and drink. I do, my friends do, and Bill Clinton certainly did. Prohibition was not a liberal cause, by the way, and neither is the war on pot.

You probably have lots of fun. Good for you! But don't whitewash liberals. I have a feeling you've never met one and actually had a civilized conversation.

Yes. Kerry's statements since Monday were a merry bonus.

Can you say "Elitist"?

His sincere denunciations well from the bottom of his cold black heart. How do I say, "Johnny is dumb", kindly?

He's a perfect poster boy for the Demolished. I hope Kerry runs again for President in 2008. His judgment entertains us.

Kerry should go into acting. I predict he plays himself in a film about himself. . . . Oh, he already does. How circular.

"is it fun to be a republican?"

A resounding Yes. I prefer the company of winners.
