I recently (about 2 weeks ago) pierced my ears and I have studs in. The one ear healed fairly quick, provided that I was using the liquid the farmacy recomended. The other ear, however is swollen for some time now, and looks a bit like a doughnut.. ha ha! Please tell me if you have a solution or a remedy or an answer saying it's normal. Thank you!

YES, IT'S NORMAL FOR SOME PEOPLE, MAKE SURE YOUR EARRINGS ARE REAL GOLD, AND MAYBE YOUR DOCTOR CAN GIVE YOU AN ANTIBIOTIC FOR IT. JUST KEEP CLEANING IT, AND THE SWELLING SHOULD GO DOWN.

its normal for them to hurrt and be swollen, but id watch it closely. when i got my belly button pierced(icky mess) the guy told me to use LISTERINE. I just put it on in the shower. i know they say not to take the earrings out, but i would at least once a week or so and clean them and ur ears. but deff. go to a DR. if u think its serious.

1. Can you unpierce your ear? No.
2. Try liquid nail or wood filler, but follow the directions
2. Try an ear Doctor before all the above.

I had the same problem. I used alcohol for disinfection and antibiotic ointment (over the counter). Try this first and if it won't help, go to your family physician.
