I really need help with this. I've been going back and forth in my mind trying to figure out if I should contact this classmate of mine or not. I never dated him or anything, as a matter of fact, we weren't even friends!! When we were in the Middle school and Junior high-he picked on me and was mean to me. But by High school, he must have matured because he wasn't like that anymore. Our schedules were different, so we never saw each other. So that is why we never got a chance to be friends. But I know he's moved to another state and has changed his last name because his family is known to be into a lot of trouble. I guess he was trying to get away from his past and move on with his life. That's why I don't know if I should write to him or not. I want to write him and ask how he is doing, etc. But I don't know how he'll feel if his "past" shows up in the mail either. If I do, how do I tell him why I wanted to write him? Should I contact him or no? Please help.

well i don't think you should i mean if he doesn't want his past showing up then why would you write him.
But take a risk maybe your the person he needs,and maybe you can become friends. write to him and explain who you are and why your writing to him.

why do you want to contract him?
i don't really see where it would be beneficial, yet what have you really got to lose? worst thing, he could never reply. will that help you to get over whatever is stuck in your mind? you only live once, so do what you think is best for you.

its not if you contact him but what you say or how frequently. you need to find areas you are similar that are away from your school history. he will come around if your present is right.
