I was hoping that someone could give me a few resources to websites perhaps, or even elementary introduction books to symbolic logic that a true beginner could progress at. Maybe even similar subjects that may titilate my interests in logic. Thank you.

My preferred site on the web is "Critical thinking on the web" -- it's a vast repository (a directory, really, of on-line resources) for a wide-range of topics (from tutorials to lists of fallacies). You'll have to look around the website, particularly if your interest is geared towards an algebraic approach to logic.

Logicola is a simple software package that allows you to practice symbolic logic. You can get it free online. Search "Logicola software."
