Sometimes i do...

I'm not a real fan of tragedy in the form of death, it just leaves an empty feeling inside me.

But usually, i'll read from beginning to end.

I don't do it. I know that if I read the ending, I'll be thinking about it the whole way through. It ruins the anticipation of the ending.

I'm also the type of person that must watch a movie beginning to end. I don't like to walk in 10+ seconds late into a movie theater, I feel like I missed so much. I don't take bathroom breaks during a movie (unless I'm at home, then I just pause it). And I usually never stop watching a movie (even if it's real bad).

I've never read the ending first, that'd defeat the whole purpose of reading a book from cover to cover. But what i sometimes have the habit of doing is skim to the end of a page (especially if it's a suspenseful event) so I have to cover the remaining portion of the page with my hand.

No. I don't understand why people skip to the end. I've always liked the story and the build up and skipping just ruins it. I will read out of order if it is a book I have already read though.

Not first, but usually when I'm about half way through a book, I get impatient and want to know what happens, so I sneak a peak at the last few pages. I don't read them in full, just snatches.

I don't know why - I just can't help myself!

When I was younger I did. Younger as in 10-20. I hated reading. I would never spoil a book like that now. I hate sad endings too.

I only read the ending first at the check outline of the grocery store and I have no intention of buying the book.

Sometimes to find if I will be interested in the story. That is what I tried for Kujo, Pet Cemetery, and The shinning, but then found the middle of all these stories to be to much for my poor nerves.~

I will also read the ending occasionally but Only if it seems someone might die and I panick for the person! Good for u, readers are so few these days.

I like to read the very last sentence first. After a few pages I can't remember it so it's not like I'm spoiling anything.

If I'm afraid a character is going to die, I like to thumb ahead to see if their name appears. If it doesn't, then I assume they're dead.

only when im getting sick of a book, and just want to know how it ends so i can move onto another one... but if the book is really good, its actually a battle to see if i have the will-power to continue to the end without peeking!
