You have a virus. You don't say the name of your antivirus program. An obvious the program that not protect you against this "blank virus". Your home page has been hi-jacked.
You can only use one antivirus or you will have serious conflict with your system. You can use three or or antispyware programs with conflict. Being you don't name your antivirus if you use one. Here is a program that you can download their freee version. (Be sure to downlaod their free version as they also have a paid verison of A2Squared V2
http://www.emsisoft.com This company is out of Austria. They will ask you for your email address so they can send you a free key as you must register. The difference between the purchase which I use, is that you get a background scanner guard an automatic updates. The free version will rid you of this virus. And there will be no conflict with any antivirus program that you have.
If you don't have an antivirus program I use an excellent free state of the art technology that in my opinion is light years ahead of any free or purchase.
http://www.avast.com They will ask you for your email so they can send you a key that is good for one year. The corporate version is the very same, they just make corporate pay. Has an excellent background scanner that really works in real time. And you will get automatic updates twice or three times per day.
Just remember you can only use one antivirus program.
Reboot after the virus is destroyed.
I use IE7 final version and both beta versions. Had no trouble with any virus using IE7 or the beta versions.

I've had this problem since I upgraded to IE7 - the white blank pages are driving me crazy as well. Also about the same time I downloaded the monthly malware update, and I had to remove it because it was damaged. I'm no help, just wondering if you went to the new Explorer as well. Hang in there, someone has the answer! It's not a virus and it isn't your computer.

That happens to me but only since I have downloaded IE 7. I shut my computer down and restarted i and I had no more problems..You might want to run a virus software just in case it is a virus but I think it's more of an IE 7 issue
