There are many advice columns I love like "Dear Abby" on Yahoo News and "Dear Prudence" on the Slate.
Sometimes when she gets really lazy, Dear Abby just posts responses to her answers from her readers. And doesn't give any advice.
Do you like those, or do you think they're lazy?

Those advice columns are never actually answered by the people who they are named after, they have staff who have no idea, just like call centers, just to give advice.

Most times they have written answers to nearly all the situations and they simply copy those and make you feel that they are answering you personally.

Sometimes, they're interesting. It's nice to get other people's point of view on things. When they have a few people give their answers, it's fun to see different views on things. Everybody thinks differently.
