A buck o five... no, seriously, when did it become perfectly acceptable to give up our liberty for security? How about this? How about we tear down all the illusions and see our government (and every government, for that matter) for the big, blustering sham that it is? A way to supress "god's" beautiful children and give the illusion of separation. We are all one. I know that sounds pretty hippie-dippie and stupid, but it is true. There is no separation. Let me say it again, THERE IS NO SEPARATION. There is no need for hate, for malice, for injustice, for laws, for punishment. You are only doing these things to yourself in the long run, although now it may seem like someone else. We have built a society on f^cking other people over. It is awful what we have done, what we have forgotten. But those in power would keep it this way, so it is, until we eventually destroy ourselves. I'm sorry to rant, but I can't help it. So many of you refuse to see the bigger picture. Why can't you all just love each other? WHY?

Anyone that says freedom is free doesn't have a clue! Our country has fought in many wars since it was founded. We even fought England in order to be a free and independent people! You cannot have a free and independent country in his world without a strong military . But the cost to have and maintain that military is not the only price we pay. Let's not forget the personal sacrifices that our soldiers have to make like being away from home and family for up to a year or longer. The families sacrifices should not be ignored either. We get to enjoy our freedom our freedom in this great country without any thought as to what it is costing us every day and the personal sacrifices that are being made by the handful of Americans and their families of time that they will never get back. These are not the only cost but just some of the most important ones.

The price to be free is not to take one's freedom for granted but strive to be free in the highest sense of that word, and to help ourselves and others to reach freedom and self actualization.
We should be willing to fight for our and others freedom if necessary.
True freedom is in the mind and heart not in the body.
So like one great poet said "stone walls do not a prison make nor iron bars a cage." It is our own minds that can keeping us locked into the worst scenarios of reality.
Or in a completely different take "freedom costs a buck o'five" ( Team America ) LOL
