omg okay so i go to a middle school that has 6 7 and 8th graders. in 6th grade, we have these little mini dances (socials) which the 6th graders go just 6th graders, and then the 7th and 8th graders go to dances. WAY cooler. but when i got there, all the 8th graders were dancing really sicklly they were like humping eachother. im not like, trying to be all stupid, but , teachers were chaperoning, and even the v.p. was there, and he didnt do anything about it. and hes meeeeeean.
real problem: i did a sick mini version with my friends but just to be funny. i feel like by the time the christmas dance comes around, ill be doing it like that too. im so confused. i dont even know what i want!!! give me ideas.
p.s. if there are any ppls around my age thatd be very much the best because uh, older ppl, dont think itll exactly be the same kinda answer.

ok dude I'm in the seventh and I know what u mean it sucks but u don't have to give in at all I've been to dances like that too and me and my date just daced normal sure we got **** from ppl but hey we did what we wanted peer pressure sucks. Just listen to this if u change just so ppl will think ur cool the what happens to u? Just do what u feel comftorable doing is all I can give u.

I'm not a middle school-er however my daughter is and she came home last Friday night with with the same comment....Mom they were humping and also dancing with their butts (pushing the butts up to the boys) She also thought the same thing as you.
Was your dance area really dark too, she thinks this is why they teachers and chaperone's didn't do anything they couldn't see what was going on.
My daughter has asked me to to go to the next PTA meeting and ask about additional lights being purchased for the dances and she as-lo asked me to chaperon. (Note I could be the mean one....not her lol) Maybe your Mom/Aunt could do the same.
Don't do it just because others are.....Be your own person....

ok, don't hate me. i am an older person.
i must give you advice though. only do what you are comfortable doing dance-wise. when people dance like that, they are dancing like they are having sex. i do hope you realize that at least. at least you have a good sense of humor to be goofy with your friends & make it not so weird to you. question is: why do you feel the need to dance like that too? are you ready to?
